| About This Website: Goals and Needs
I.
Goals:
- Help unify as many Christians, pastors and congregations
spiritually (not doctrinally) and thus help bring a sort
of spiritual unity to the body of Christ (as described on
the Home Page of this site).
- To educate these same Christians readers about Jesus'
primary mission for the church and all believers (Matthew
28:18-20), and to educate these same Christians about some
of the various major works Jesus has raised up to help fulfill
His primary mission for the church.
- After educating a constantly growing number of Christians
about some of the various major works that Jesus has raised
up to help fulfill His primary mission for the church, to
then show these same readers how they can create a vital
flow of funds and prayers to these works of Jesus, leading
to the ultimate fulfilling of Matthew 28:18-20 and Matthew
24:14.
II.
NEEDS OF THIS SITE:
This tiny website is designed as a pump-priming work,
designed to:
- Help enable the flow of the Holy Spirit into as large
a number of Christians as possible, enlivening their walk
with the Lord and spiritually uniting them further into
the greater body of Christ by presenting a growing number
of quality expository Bible studies taken from and teaching
the Word of God in a thorough manner.
- To create a Holy Spirit guided flow of prayers and cash-flow
needed to support some of the major works of Jesus that
are on the cutting edge of fulfilling Matthew 28:18-20 and
thus bringing Matthew 24:14 to pass.
The
greater the ability this site has to reach out and spiritually
strengthen and educate Christians of Jesus' primary mission
for them and the church, the closer we will get to fulfilling
Matthew 28:18-20 and 24:14. Old fashioned pumps used by farmers
to pump their well-water up from a good distance underground
had a leather diaphragm in the pump mechanism. A tiny pail
of water was always kept next to the pump "to prime" the pump.
What this meant was this. Over a short period of time the
leather diaphragm would dry out and shrink, making the pump
inoperable. The person desiring to use the pump to get water
would first pour some "priming water" from this pail into
the pump to swell up the leather diaphragm. When swelled,
the pump could then be used to pump water efficiently. This
last part, part III of this article on tithing is designed
to create as large a cash-flow as possible (as the Lord wills)
to some of the major "cutting edge" works of Jesus that are
fulfilling His mission for the church, the greater body of
Christ. As such, part III of that article is like the pump
and its diaphragm inside. While dry, that diaphragm will have
little or no ability to pump water, i.e. create a God-desired
flow of prayer and funding to some of these major "cutting
edge" evangelistic works of Jesus.
This website is a totally not-for-profit organization, and
is designed, as stated, to help enable Christians in their
walk with Jesus and to create a flow of Christian prayers
and giving into some of the major "cutting edge" evangelistic
organizations that are spreading the gospel worldwide. The
ability of this site to successfully meet that goal of being
an effective pump is dependant on my own ability right now
(inspired by God's Spirit) to add quality expository sermon
material to the site in a timely manner (I work a normal job
in electronics for a living, supporting two kids as a single
dad), and ultimately, (in the future at this point) pay for
quality advertising of the site. I am not one to beg for money
or offerings. It goes totally against my grain and longstanding
spiritual training. This has been written in the spirit of
Franklin Graham's statement in his autobiography (Rebel
With A Cause) "Present the facts, let the people know the
need, and then back off. We would let the Holy Spirit do the
rest..." This presenting of the facts is only intended
to do just that. All offerings sent to this website at the
address below will be used exclusively and carefully to further
the promotion of the gospel of Christ worldwide and the nurturing
of the greater body of Christ by the continued addition of
quality material to this site and the promotion of this site
through effective advertising. The users of this site should
feel no obligation to give back to this site, and should only
contribute if the desire is genuinely there, for the Lord
loves a cheerful giver. Steady donors, or occasional gifts
are all welcome, but remember, the primary giving responsibility
of Christians is to give to the denomination or congregation
they belong to. Then after that obligation is met, one can
give to the major international evangelistic organizations,
if one is inspired to do so. This site should come at the
bottom of the list of a Christians giving priorities,
and only then if genuinely inspired to cheerfully do so. So
enjoy this site, and if it helps you to grow spiritually,
pass it around to your Christian friends. This is an online
discipleship tool for strengthening the body of Christ.
